Renee McMullen is a dynamic marketing professional with more than 20 years’ experience in project management, marketing consulting, and event management. Most recently she has worked as a consultant to small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and individuals providing a full spectrum of marketing and event management services. Through the development of consistent and impactful marketing, branding and communications, Renee helps firms determine and articulate who they are and what they want to say to their clients and prospects, and how to deliver their message in the most compelling and persuasive ways. Renee ensures the efficient operation of a business’s marketing function by leading clients through critical marketing and communications development processes, and by skillfully leveraging technology. Detailed-oriented and organized, Renee manages the logistics, communications, and budget, helping small businesses put their best foot forward. A significant extension of Renee’s marketing support is the development, planning, and execution of special events. As an event manager, which capitalizes on her social nature and impeccable organizational skills, Renee has planned and executed more than 50 meetings, conferences, and events ranging in size from intimate Board retreats for 30 to expositions with 3,500 attendees. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Renee received her bachelor’s degree in computer science from Hampton University in Hampton, VA, with additional graduate studies in Management at the University of Maryland Global Campus (formerly the University of Maryland University College).
